Hygitech Helix Test

Helix test tests an autoclave`s capacity to sterilise hollow items such as suction autoclavable tubes.

It needs to be carried out every day during a specific cycle (in an empty autoclave).　

• Aim of the test: Steam must penetrate the length of a narrow-coiled tube and cause a reaction on a slip of folded paper printed with indicator ink at the sealed end.
• Presentation: The test comprises a 1.5-meter-long tube open at one end, with the other end containing a capsule for the sterilisation indicator slip.
